Florida’s 10 Best Resort Hotels (Outside of Miami Beach)

From the Gulf Coast pale white sands to sunny Miami, Florida doesn’t like for dreamy coastline.

Readers expressed their appreciation this year for the Florida Keys’ eternally aquamarine waters: Five of our best 10 resort hotels can be found in this island chain, with four alone in Key West. The Kimpton Vero Beach Hotel & Spa on the Atlantic Coast came in at No. 10. Even the Four Seasons Resort Orlando at Walt Disney World located in landlocked Orlando emerged as No. 4, which proves that you don’t need to be a child to appreciate the magic of Disney World.

Each year, T&L asks readers for our World’s Best Awards survey to voice on their experiences of traveling around the globe – to express their comments on the best hotels, airlines, spas, cruise ships, islands, cities, resorts, and more. Hotels were being rated on their food, service, location, facilities, and overall value. Properties were categorized as a resort or city on their amenities and locations.

The Pearl located in charming Rosemary Beach, the first-place winner last year, arrives at No. 5 for this year, still attracting readers with its bold yellow umbrellas and black-and-white color scheme that seems like they’ve been removed right away the Amalfi Coast. One fan praised being a perfect getaway for families. The second place was secured by Little Palm Island Resort & Spa which is another known name on this list. Currently, in the middle of an overhaul, the private-island resort integrates the perfect Florida Keys, with a TV or a nary phone and 30 warm thatched-roof bungalows. One reader praised that the staff of the resort is exceedingly friendly and gives you with sincere service. The reader added that it’s a gem that will be better after the completion of the renovation.

The list has a few surprises.

The newcomer Havana Cabana Hotel, which made into the third place, is an exceptional Key West find that has a serpentine palm-lined pool and Cuban-influenced, bright, light decor, making Hemingway feel to be right at home. One reader gushed that the hotel is a creative area with fantastic old cars and many fun offerings. The No. 6 is the nearby Marker Waterfront Resort with a central location only steps away from the historic seaport, while the Perry Hotel came in at No. 7 that provides the old Key West taste, but complete with modern amenities.
